OnHollywood
February 1, 2008
The third annual OnHollywood 100 competition has begun!
Disruptive technology forced big changes in Hollywood this year: new contracts, new genres, new stars.  As the behemoth industry steps into the digital era, entertainment execs will be paying even closer attention to the global Silicon Valley--especially the startups that are writing the rules and creating the tools for the digital entertainment age.

To help identify these startups, we'd like your help. We're looking for the top emerging private companies that are creating new business opportunities in digital entertainment. To qualify, companies must demonstrate significant market traction and be pursuing game-changing technology in one of the following sectors:

• Consumer Services
• Content Delivery Platforms
• Digital Content Publishers
• Enabling Tools, Applications and Services
• Mobile and Wireless
• Devices, Components and Infrastructure
• B2B Services

The winners will be announced in early June and will be honored at OnHollywood, June 10-12 at The Sofitel Hotel in West Hollywood. If you'd like to join us in Hollywood (and take advantage of the AO Insider discounted ticket rate), click here. We'll also feature the winners in AO's quarterly print blogozine and on the AlwaysOn website.

To assist us in this competition, please click here to complete a company qualification form, or leave a comment below.

AlwaysOn has once again partnered with Vator.tv to help the AO editorial team learn more about the people behind the ideas. Through voting and commenting and rating, the Vator community will select the top five video pitches submitted to the AO/Vator Video Pitch Competition. Then the AO editorial team will choose one winner to participate in the conference. The winner will not only make the 100 list, but will have the opportunity to present at the OnHollywood event. Click here to submit your video to the AO/Vator Video Pitch Competition now!
